Meta’s AI “Pause”
Last week, it was all over the news that Meta (Facebook’s parent company) had paused its AI hiring.
Immediately, pundits started freaking out. Is Generative AI the next (failed) Metaverse? Has Zuck burned through billions of dollars of investors’ money for no reason…again? Could this be the beginning of the end for the AI boom?
