What Does Trump's "One AI Rule" Mean?

Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a political post. I’m not rage-baiting (shoutout to the Oxford Dictionary) anyone on any side of the political spectrum.

Rather, I’m just sharing the facts. And in this case, the facts are that American President Donald Trump seems poised to release a new Executive Order this week establishing “One AI Rule” for America.

This “One Rule” would supersede the patchwork of individual rules and laws around AI popping up in different states.

It could be a really positive thing for AI safety—but there are some major concerns creators should watch out for.
